An ode to Chikankari

Inspired by the regal art of chikankari, our new collection of nightdresses recreates the elegant white thread embroidery on breezy cotton.

Chikankari was introduced by Mughal empress Noor Jehan to decorate white muslin textiles. Through hand-embroidered motifs, her artisans added a rich layer to diaphanous fabrics and created a dense, shadow effect.

In our reinterpretation, we refine the motifs to craft delicate florals in pristine white chikankari embroidery. The pieces are designed in soothing, pastel colours, evoking a serene aesthetic for nighttime dressing.

The collection revives quiet luxury from a majestic era, when the softest materials and intricate textile crafts reigned supreme.
